Novel instruments for patenting

Nowadays it's more difficult to get patents granted: The patents system is worldwide, the examiner in each country also takes into account patents in other countries, as well as what is in the public domain. There are tens of millions of patents. Patents become more and more complex, for example those relating to inventions in telecom, software, electronics, internet, artificial intelligence, encryption. Patents for simple devices have to compete with a miriad existing inventions in these fields.

To address these challenges, our patent attorney office developed instruments for assisting the patent attorney in his work, as well as in his dialog with the inventor and the patent examiner.

Thus we succeeded in achieving stronger patents, which were granted in a shorter time, two years from filing the application and even less. Accelerated examination is optional.

Successes in achieving patents grant in two years or less

The maximum lifespan of a patent is 20 years from the filing date; the earlier you get a patent granted, the longer the time period you can benefit from your patent.
Important benefit: It's easier to successfully pass the exam to get a patent granted, if the process is shorter.

The Nazareth District Court approved the use of Patentics in Court.

The novel method detailed here is optional; it has various benefits, however more work is required, therefore this venue is more expensive.

Multi-IP

We developed a method for integrating additional instruments of intellectual property into a patent application, to further strengthen the protection for inventions.

This may achieve protection stronger than that of patent alone, and for a longer period of time.

If properly used, synergy is achieved between these IP instruments.

Of course, the IP instruments which can be applied depend on the characteristics of each invention. Thus, various IP instruments may protect various corresponding aspects of an invention.

Multi-IP: Trademark with patent

Each instrument of intellectual protection should be used differently, according to its corresponding Law, for example: inventions should be kept in secret until a patent application is filed, whereas a trademark can be published prior to registration and, indeed, prior publication may help pass the examination during subsequent registration.

Thus, a mention of the trademark or service mark may be included in the patent application- this is free, and it may serve to prove the date of introduction of the trademark.

If you start with filing to register the trademark, the mark may not pass the examination; in that case, you are forbidden from using the trademark anymore- thus you are in a worse position than if you were to use the trademark without registration.

If you start by using the trademark in commerce, this may help you later on to pass the examination.

Premature filing for trademark registration may hurt your interests

Multi-IP generally refers to a multi-dimensional strategy for IP protection, integrated within your overall business strategy. Using the abovedetailed approach, using the trademark in commerce together with its proper citation in your patent application, can strengthen your IP protection.

There are various limitations and exceptions to any IP protection strategy, due to the complexities of inventions and of the relevant Laws.

Patentics

The Patentics method assists the patent attorney in his substantive tasks: a concise and precise definition of an invention, definition which forms the backbone of the patent application which will be drafted in a second stage; comparing with prior art patents after drafting the application, or during examination.

Patentics support during examination or interference

The challenge during examination is in so defining your invention as not to collide with prior art cited by the examiner on the one hand, but to achieve the widest protection possible on the other hand.

Sometimes the examiner will cite a prior art patent which is close to your invention; sometimes several close patents; or maybe many citations, or a complex invention in telecom, encryption or computers.

Using the Patentics method, inventions are defined by a set of mathematical, logic equations. This representation allows for complex logic processes, faster.

It's difficult to perform complex logic processes in one's head. Patentics is fast and precise.

Don't miss your opportunity!
Act Now

In all patents-related tasks there is a deadline. If you miss it, there are additional costs, or it may be impossible to continue: To answer an exam report, request a PCT exam, revive an abandoned application, etc.

You are competing with all the inventors worldwide- the first to file an application, has a better chance to win.

Marc personally handles all our office's customers- and only accepts a limited number of projects at a time.

Marc personally answers questions- and only a limited number of questions each day.

You may have one good idea, an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Don't miss it
